Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management is a three-year full-time course offered by Directorate of Technical Education, Thiruvananthapuram and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This course provides insight to theories & Practices on business and inter-disciplinary areas of management and applications of computers in business.
The curriculum of Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management is designed and executed in such a way that students are:
- Able to handle computerized operations of all business activities
- Proficient in office automation necessary for business management
- Dynamic enough for handling & assisting all business operations including marketing, sales & customer care
- Well trained to assist office administration
Students will be able to handle computerized operations of all business activities, proficient in office automation necessary for business management, dynamic enough for handling and assisting all business operations including marketing, sales & customer care. They will be well trained to assist office administration activities. The course also offers versatile opportunities, since Diploma holders will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of employment settings in all sectors of business and industry, in both domestic and international locations, including manufacturers, market research companies, international marketing and sales, educational institutions, banks and other financial institutions, and other large and small entrepreneurial businesses.

The Department of CABM has recorded unfailing improvement in its academic, extracurricular and placement performance. Program offers a range of innovatively designed courses to meet the changing requirement of the industry and to meet the needs of the stakeholders.
During study of CABM, the students are encouraged to get hands- on experience in the corporate world through internship projects with reputed organizations. As a part syllabus students are encouraged to take up mini projects to the enhancement theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Our curriculum has enabled inclusive development of maturing business professional to come up with the expectations of the corporate world. With these entire inputs one finds our students hardworking, practical-oriented and effective in any work environment. We have designed our syllabus to strike a balance between professional knowledge and personal skills.
The department of Computer Application and Business management well equipped with experienced full-time faculty in functional the areas of management and computer application. We also have many Visiting Faculties and Guest Faculties from the industries who add value to our programs. The expertise of Faculty is the main strength of the department that facilitated us to have a unique professional standing.
