Admission
Admission to the Polytechnic College for the three-year full-time Diploma course are done state wise and the allotment is done by the State Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (SITTTR) Kalamassery. Selection of the candidate is based on the grading in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent Examination.

Open merit in the state: 50% of the seats will be filled up purely on merit in the state irrespective of the category/community to which the candidate belongs.
Reservation of Seats: The remaining seats will be reserved for Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and different categories like Persons with Disabilities, THSLC holders, ITI/ KGCE Certificate holders, VHSE Candidates and Fee Waivers.
